Sergino Dest, attendu comme titulaire au poste d’arrière droit de l’équipe nationale américaine pour la Coupe du monde 2026, a fait son retour samedi après-midi. De retour de blessure aux ischio-jambiers, il a joué trente minutes lors du match nul 2-2 face à l’Ajax. Le défenseur était absent depuis le 7 mars, date à laquelle il avait quitté le terrain en boitant lors de la victoire 2-1 du PSV contre l’AZ Alkmaar. Une bonne nouvelle pour les joueurs américains du PSV, Ricardo Pepi ayant également trouvé le chemin des filets.
