Scotland head coach Sebastien Pocognoli has received a significant boost ahead of the final international break of the year with the return of several key stars. Midfield powerhouse Scott McTominay has been included in the 26-man squad for the upcoming Nations League double-header.
Switzerland have officially welcomed Granit Xhaka and Breel Embolo back into the national team setup following a controversial investigation into forged COVID-19 vaccination documents. The pair were sidelined during recent international windows as the Swiss Football Association (SFV) scrutinized their actions from 2022.
Scott McTominay is yet to sign a new contract at Napoli, which has led to inevitable transfer talk being generated. Pat Nevin has told GOAL what could happen next when it comes to the Scotland international, with a Jose Mourinho reunion at Real Madrid being mooted for the ex-Manchester United star alongside a potential return to the Premier League.
