Gomes completes free transfer to Marseille

Former Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes has left Lille after five seasons to join fellow Ligue 1 outfit Marseille on a three-year deal. At Marseille, Gomes will reunite with former Old Trafford colleague Mason Greenwood. The England international reportedly had offers from Premier League sides Arsenal and United, however, he opted to stay in France instead of heading back to his homeland.

Fati reveals what Yamal told him before he sealed Monaco move

Ansu Fati revealed he had a chat with Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal before he sealed move to Monaco. He joined the Ligue 1 outfit on a season-long loan and as part of the agreement, Monaco holds the right to make the transfer permanent next summer for €11 million (£9m/$13m), depending on Fati’s impact in France. At the same time, Barcelona have extended the 22-year-old’s contract until June 2028, as they still see long-term potential in him.

Forest agree deal for Lyon's Fofana amid Chelsea competition

Nottingham Forest have taken the first step in the pursuit of highly-rated winger Malick Fofana by reaching an agreement with Ligue 1 side Lyon, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano. The 20-year-old Belgian is one of the most sought-after young forwards in Europe and although the clubs have agreed on terms, Forest still need to secure the player’s approval before finalising the transfer.
