Team news & squads
Kazakhstan team news
Kazakhstan have claimed just one win in their opening three qualifiers, recently losing 1-0 at home to North Macedonia after a solid victory over Liechtenstein. The team is expected to remain largely unchanged, with regular starters such as forward Maksim Samorodov, midfielder Askhat Tagybergen, and defender Aleksandr Marochkin available. Kazakhstan have no major suspension issues reported going into this match.
Wales team news
Wales are without several experienced names, most notably captain Aaron Ramsey, who has just returned from a long-term injury and was omitted as a precaution. Leeds United’s Ethan Ampadu is also out with a knee injury, while long-serving midfielder Joe Allen is not included in the squad.
Despite the absences, the team has called up several new faces, including uncapped players Dylan Lawlor, Ronan Kpakio, and Kai Andrews from Cardiff and Coventry, to complement a core led by Ben Davies, Harry Wilson, and Daniel James. Wrexham goalkeeper Danny Ward is also set to miss out through injury.
