Antonio Conte’s next club: Harry Kane reunion at Bayern Munich doubtful as Serie A giants Napoli make huge offer for ex-Chelsea & Tottenham boss

Antonio Conte has been without a job since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in March 2023. The Italian was being linked with a move to Bayern Munich as reports claimed the Bundesliga giants had identified him as a possible replacement for Thomas Tuchel, who is leaving in the summer.

But CalcioNapoli24 reports that reigning Serie A champions Napoli are reportedly preparing a huge bid to rope in the former Chelsea and Inter boss ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. The report further claims that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is personally invested in the deal and wants a big-name manager to rebuild the brand of the club.

Italian journalist Emmanuel Cammaroto wrote: "De Laurentiis, it appears, would be ready to make an extraordinary offer for Conte, €8m [£6.9m/$9.1m], with the option for a third season in which the salary could then rise by around €400-500k. On the bonus table to the achievement of the objectives but above all carte blanche on the market, the keys to the locker room and the sharing in the introduction of the final indication for the appointment of the sporting director.

"Conte thinks about it, he is strongly tempted. Clear and precise signals are arriving in this direction. At present, a refusal would be much more surprising than a possible yes."

The Partenopei, who have failed to register a win in their last four matches across all competitions, will next be in action on Sunday as they take on Monza in a Serie A clash away from home.
