Manchester United supporters have finally caught a glimpse of summer signing Carlos Baleba in action after the midfielder featured in a secretive training ground fixture. Haiti international Hannes Delcroix produced the most clinical performance of his career on Sunday, netting a remarkable quick-fire hat-trick to inspire Lugano to a dominant 4-0 victory over Lausanne. The former Burnley defender was the unlikely hero as the Swiss Super League leaders extended their advantage at the summit of the table.

Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the £9.5m signing of Algeria left-back Jaouen Hadjam from Swiss side Young Boys on a five-year contract. The 23-year-old arrives to bolster Fabian Hurzeler's defensive ranks following a fine spell in Switzerland, offering additional tactical depth and competition on the left flank for the Seagulls this season.

Manchester United have confirmed the permanent departure of homegrown defender Tyler Fredricson, who has completed a surprise move to Swiss outfit Lausanne-Sport. The 21-year-old, who rose through the academy ranks at Old Trafford, joins a club notably under the same INEOS ownership umbrella as the Red Devils.
