Mbappe transfer rumours are inevitable, claims Saha


Kylian Mbappe has been hailed as "an exceptional player who makes the biggest clubs dream" as Paris Saint-Germain attempt to fend off interest in the France star.

The 21-year-old became the first teenager since Pele to score in a World Cup final two years ago, and he has kicked on since helping Les Bleus to that global triumph.

Former France and Manchester United striker Louis Saha says Mbappe is "the most valuable player on Earth", and claims it is only natural clubs such as Real Madrid should be sniffing around.

'Chilwell will be an upgrade on Alonso for Chelsea'


Former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson has urged his old club to continue their pursuit of Ben Chilwell, claiming that the Leicester star represents an improvement at left-back.

Chilwell, 23, has been one of the stars of the 2019-20 season for the Foxes as they sit in third place in the Premier League ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

That talent has not gone unnoticed, with the Blues in particular linked with a move this summer amid reports Leicester will demand upwards of £80 million ($101m).

Muller talks up Havertz to Bayern Munich


Thomas Muller has talked up a potential move to Bayern Munich for Kai Havertz, while ex-Bayer Leverkusen boss Reiner Calmund has expressed his belief that the midfielder will not be sold for less than €100 million (£90m/$113m).

Havertz has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence over the last couple of seasons, emerging as both a talismanic figure for Leverkusen and one of the most sought after talents in European football.

The 20-year-old has scored 15 goals in 38 appearances for Peter Bosz's side in 2019-20, while also contributing eight assists, and is now being touted for a step up to the elite stage.

Transfer window can open before end of the season, FIFA confirms


FIFA has confirmed that it will allow the transfer window to open before the end of the delayed 2019-20 season in order to aid clubs during the coronavirus pandemic.

The disease and the resulting interruption to football activities has hit clubs hard across the world, as well as creating huge uncertainty over the future. 

Thousands of players' contracts expire in June, leaving them officially free agents despite the restart of activities that began in May with the Bundesliga.

Chelsea must be considered Premier League title challengers for 2020-21 now that they are preparing to welcome Timo Werner’s goals and Hakim Ziyech’s flair onto their books, says Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Sven-Goran Eriksson has urged Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne to stay at Manchester City and resist the temptation of Real Madrid.

City this week made their case in an appeal against a two-year ban from UEFA competition, after being found to have breached Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

The outcome of that challenge at the Court of Arbitration for Sport is reportedly not expected until July, by which time City's reign as Premier League champions is likely to have been ended by Liverpool.

Inter striker Sebastian Esposito has yet to agree on a contract extension at San Siro - according to Calcio Mercato.

Atalanta, Parma and Fiorentina are all ready to launch bids for the 17-year-old if he fails to commit his future to the Nerazzurri.
