Maurizio Sarri has preferred Eden Hazard and Olivier Giroud in the central role this season and Morata has been given limited game-time.

Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Yannick Carrasco, according to Sky Sports Italia per the Mirror.
The Belgian winger joined Dalian Yifang from Atletico Madrid last February and, after finishing in 11th place, the Chinese Super League side is looking to recoup the £26.5 million fee paid to sign him.
Arsenal are seen as Carrasco's perferred destination although AC Milan are also interested.

Moses has had few first-team opportunities under Maurizio Sarri and Chelsea are apparently seeking £12 million ($15m).
Real lining up £100m move for Eriksen
Real Madrid have made contact with Tottenham over sigining Christian Eriksen, according to the Indepentent.
The Europian champions are lining up a move for one of either Eriksen or Eden Hazard, and are preparing a £100 million ($127m) offer for the Dane this summer.
Eriksen will have only one year left on his contract at the end of the season.

Villa sign Hause
Aston Villa have announced the loan signing of Kortney Hause from Wolves.
The 23-year-old defender can play at centre-back or left-back but has made just two appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo's side this term, both of which came in the Carabao Cup.
Chelsea eye Barella to replace Fabregas
Chelsea are targetting Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, claims Sky Sports.
Fabregas has had limited game time under Maurizio Sarri and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this month having held talks with Ligue 1 side Monaco.
At 21 years of age, Barella will apparently cost the Blues £45 million ($57m).
Pepe turns down Arsenal for Monaco
Former Real Madrid defender Pepe has turned down an offer from Arsenal in order to join Monaco, reports L'Equipe.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has previously stated his desire to bring in a centre-back this month, but the free agent has opted to sign for the Ligue 1 relegation battlers.
Monaco have struggled under new boss Thierry Henry and sit in 19th place.
Pochettino open to January arrivals
Mauricio Pochettino says he is open to new arrivals at Tottenham this month but admits they are unlikely.
Spurs failed to sign a single player in the summer transfer window due to the cost of their new stadium, and will be without Son Heung-Min over the next few weeks as the forward joins South Korea for the Asia Cup.
Pochettino insisted Spurs' January business is not dependent on players leaving.

Bayern a bad move for Hudson-Odoi, says Sarri
A switch to Bayern Munich would be a bad move for Callum Hudson-Odoi according to his Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
The German champions have made a number of offers in an attempt to lure the 18-year-old to the Allianz Arena this month, the latest coming in at £30 million ($38m), but Sarri thinks staying at Chelsea will be a wiser choice.
Hudson-Odoi has been offered limited game time this season and has reportedly stalled on a new contract at Stamford Bridge, although he impressed on a rare start against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round.
Cardiff loan Madine to Sheffield United
Sheffield United have confirmed the loan signing of Gary Madine from Cardiff City.
The Blades currently sit third in the Championship table and see the 28-year-old striker as a key addition for a promotion push in the second half of the season.
Madine is the second Premier League player to join the Bramall Lane side this winter, with Everton's Kieran Dowell also having signed until the end of the season.
Schalke keen on Jovetic move
Schalke are keen to bring in Monaco striker Stevan Jovetic, according to German publication Bild.
The Bundesliga side's forwards have struggled to score goals amid a plethora of injuries this season and see Jovetic as a smart addition – despite the Montenegrin having been out with issues of his own.
Having played for Fiorentina, Sevilla and Manchester City among others, Jovetic's experience interests Schalke, who could opt to try to sign the 29-year-old on loan first with an option to buy.
Jovetic's current Monaco deal expires in 2021.
Napoli eager to wrap up Chucky deal
Napoli are in talks to sign PSV forward Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
It is said that the player himself is keen on the move, but it is more likely a deal will be concluded in June rather than in January.
The Partenopei have been in contact with agent Mino Raiola, with an offer of €30 million (£27m/$34m) seeming more reasonable to the Serie A side than PSV's current asking price of €35m (£31.5m/$40m).
In addition, a part-exchange deal that could include Adam Ounas and Amin Younes is also an option.
