VIDEO: Germany star Thomas Muller leaves letter for Bayern Munich team-mate Harry Kane at training base that England will use during Euro 2024

Kane has joined up with the England squad for Euro 2024, with the team set to fly out to Germany shortly. The team will be based in Thuringia where the Germany squad have just held a training campaign. While he was there, Thomas Muller wrote a letter to his Bayern team-mate which will be waiting for Kane when he arrives with the Three Lions squad.

Germany's Instagram account showed off Muller writing his letter and sent a message to the England skipper: "Hey England. What‘s up Harry Kane? ✌️ We just finished our 5 days in your future team basecamp here in Thuringia 🇩🇪 Great conditions, very friendly people, and sometimes it‘s even raining 🌧️ Sounds perfect, right? 😉 Have a good time here in Germany! See you at the Euros! 😎"

Kane and Muller have developed a great relationship this season since the striker joined the Bavarian giants but will have to put their friendship aside on the pitch this summer. Muller is part of a Germany squad aiming to improve on some disastrous showings in recent tournaments and will hope that home advantage works in their favour. Meanwhile, England finished as runners-up back in 2020 and have a squad packed full of quality once again.

England are in friendly action on Monday against Bosnia and Herzegovina and then play Iceland on Friday. Manager Gareth Southgate will then announce his final squad before their opening game against Serbia on June 16.
