    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Greenwood was handed his marching orders after just 50 minutes of Getafe's clash with Rayo on Tuesday, leaving the hosts down to nine men. The Manchester United loanee was shown a straight red card for dissent, with manager Jose Bordalas revealing after the game what Greenwood had said to the match official.

    The Getafe boss told reporters: "The player told me that he said 'don't f*ck with me'. At no time has he insulted anyone."

    Getafe went on to lose the game 2-0 and ended up with three of their players being sent off. Juanmi Latasa went first after receiving a second yellow card, Greenwood was next and Damien Suarez also saw red while leaving the pitch after being substituted.

    Greenwood will now face a suspension for his red card and the sending off may also impact his future. The forward has reportedly attracted interest from a host of clubs including La Liga giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, although his red card is unlikely to impress potential admirers. The forward has been having an impact at Getafe following his move from Manchester United, with the club also believed to be keen to keep hold of the 22-year-old on a permanent basis after his loan expires in the summer.
