Jurgen Klopp saw Liverpool slip to a humiliating defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash on Tuesday. The Reds took an early 2-0 lead but ended up on the end of a 5-2 thrashing in front of their own supporters.
The defeat saw Real Madrid break multiple records at Anfield and leaves Klopp's side on the brink of elimination from Europe's top competition.
There's no guarantee the Reds be playing Champions League football next season either, as they currently sit seven points adrift of the Premier League's top four.
Tuesday's thrashing was the latest in a surprisingly long list of heavy defeats suffered by Klopp during his time on Merseyside. The German tactician has delivered plenty of trophies but he's also overseen a number of remarkably poor performances.
