According to The Athletic, a move might be sanctioned for Darwin Nunez amid strong interest from Napoli and Al-Hilal. Luis Diaz has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona, but the feeling at Anfield is that the Colombian will stay. Thus, Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes is prioritising a new No.9 in a bid to bolster Arne Slot's squad even further.
