Ronaldo sent shockwaves around the footballing world when he made those comments on social media, leading to a deluge of interest from clubs wishing to sign him. But if these reports come true, this would be quite the U-turn from the former Real Madrid star - who still has no plans to retire just yet.

The report adds that while the length of the contract has not been revealed, former Manchester United ace Ronaldo is 'expected' to remain with Al-Nassr until 2027 - by which time he will be 42. For now, his current terms expire at the end of June so there is still time for a deal to be struck.
