All completed PSG transfers so far in 2023-24 - listed

Twelve new additions and the exits of both Lionel Messi and Neymar were the highlights of an exhausting and chaotic summer. After a ropey start to the season, Luis Enrique's Paris Saint-Germain have hit top form after a slow start to the season.

The Parisians are comfortably top of Ligue 1, through to the last 16 of the Champions League, and finding form ahead of what will be a crucial few months.

However, it promises to be a nervous start to 2024 for PSG fans with speculation set to intensify about their star-man Kylian Mbappe's future. The Frenchman has been at the forefront of Enrique's project, but refused to take up the option of a 12-month extension into 2025.

It means that, starting January 1, he can openly talk to other clubs or even sign a pre-contract agreement, with long-time suitor Real Madrid or Premier League leader Liverpool both making efforts to land his signature.

In terms of potential reinforcements, things are going well for the capital club right now, so not much is needed. Still, PSG have enough clout behind them to make a big splash if they want to.

With the winter transfer window up and running, GOAL has got you covered with a comprehensive list of all the completed PSG transfers in the 2023-24 season.

    New signings summer window

Paris Saint-Germain were very active in bolstering their depth across the board in the summer window. They roped in Marco Asensio on a free transfer from Real Madrid, while midfield destroyer Manuel Ugarte and creative midfielder Kang-in Lee have also arrived through the door from Sporting CP and Mallorca, respectively.

They also made high-profile transfers for Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona and Benfica hitman Goncalo Ramos as they look to add more firepower to their attack.

Elsewhere at the back, Inter Milan's defensive stalwart Milan Skriniar joined PSG on a free transfer as a like-for-like replacement for recently released Sergio Ramos. 2018 World Cup winner Lucas Hernandez joined forces with the Slovakian captain to further bolster the backline.

On deadline-day, PSG also confirmed the blockbuster transfer for France international forward Randal Kolo-Muani following his attacking exploits at Eintracht Frankfurt.

    Departures summer window

The departure of Lionel Messi was undoubtedly the biggest news from a transfer perspective at PSG during the summer and a further clear-out of stars who have failed to impress followed. After much speculation, Brazilian star Neymar departed for Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Both Marco Verratti and Abdou Diallo left the French capital to move to Al-Arabi SC in Qatar for a combined €60 million ($66.2m), helping the club balance their books after splashing the cash earlier in the window. Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes are expected to return from underwhelming loan spells at Benfica and Juventus, respectively and will be asked to find a new home.

  • New signings January window

PSG made a fast start to the winter transfer window, having officially announced the signing of 20-year-old Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo from Sao Paulo as part of their winter transfer business. The Brazil under-20 international will bolster head coach Enrique's defensive options.

Recent reports have suggested Enrique also wants to sign a new left-back to cover for injury-prone Nuno Mendes, and an experienced Champions League-proven midfielder following the outbreak of injuries in the club’s midfield department, as both Warren-Zaire Emery (ankle), and Fabian Ruiz (shoulder) have suffered long-term injuries, while Korean midfielder Kang-In Lee will miss the start of the calendar year due to the Asian Cup.

  • Departures January window

PSG cleared the deck to trim down their squad to Luis Enrique's liking over the summer, so there's not many dead wood left to be sold during the winter window. Young French forward Hugo Ekitike is one player expected to leave Parc des Princes following a somewhat disappointing spell since arriving from Stade Reims, with clubs from England among those interested in his services.
