Como schedule medical for €19m signing from Celtic as Cesc Fabregas' huge overhaul continues after impressive Serie A season

According to Fabrizio Romano, Como have reached an agreement with Celtic to sign Kuhn in a deal worth €19 million (£16m/$21m). The 24-year-old will undergo medical tests in the coming hours before putting pen to paper. The German winger had an impressive season, notching 21 goals and 15 assists in 51 appearances, and will now be part of a bold new era under Fabregas.

This move is part of a massive transfer overhaul by Como, who are aiming to solidify their place in Serie A. Backed by the billionaire Hartono family, the club could spend close to €100 million this summer alone. Alongside Kuhn, players like Jesus Rodriguez, and Alex Valle are all key additions for a side that’s thinking far beyond just survival.

Kuhn came through the RB Leipzig and spent time at Ajax and Bayern Munich. Though originally a right winger, he’s versatile and effective on both flanks, making him a valuable asset in Fabregas’ evolving tactical setup.

Kuhn’s official unveiling is expected shortly after his medical. Como are expected to keep spending, with more names linked as the club prepares for its Serie A return. The revamped squad will aim to make a serious statement in Italy's top flight.
