Simons is reportedly excited by Chelsea’s long-term vision under Maresca, and talks over personal terms have been progressing smoothly over the last few weeks. The Club World Cup champions are said to be confident of completing the transfer before the window closes. Leipzig, who paid €50m just months ago, appear willing to negotiate if Chelsea meet their valuation.
