Slot reportedly held a 'secret meeting' with Wirtz in a bid to convince him to make the switch to Anfield. Yet the Germany international may not have needed much convincing. Wirtz is due to have a medical at Liverpool and complete his move on Friday, with an official announcement to follow. Fans will then be able to catch a glimpse of him in action for the Reds for the first time when they head to Asia in July for a pre-season tour.
