Agent Andre Onana! Goalkeeper has special advice for Man Utd target Bryan Mbeumo

The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves this summer and are also hoping to add Mbeumo from Brentford. According to the Manchester Evening News, Onana "has advised" Mbeumo to join Manchester United despite interest from Tottenham. The report adds that the Red Devils "have a long history" of using national team camps to try and sway potential new signings.

Onana and Mbeumo are international team-mates with Cameroon and United may be hoping that relationship can help convince the Brentford ace to head to Old Trafford rather than link up with Thomas Frank at Spurs. United do have other targets if they miss out on Mbeumo, with Bournemouth's Semenyo and Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze also believed to be potential targets.

Onana is expected to stay at Manchester United despite talk of a move away this summer. The goalkeeper has been quizzed on his future recently, in a rather awkward exchange, and said only: "Will I leave? I don’t know, we’ll see!"

Amorim is eager to strengthen his squad after a dismal campaign in 2025-26 but fans will have to wait and see if Mbeumo does agreed to join the Red Devils. Manchester United are due to kick off a busy pre-season campaign next month against Leeds in Sweden.
