The Buccaneers secured their passage into the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup with a hard-fought victory over Sekhukhune United, but the result was not enough to satisfy the head coach. Despite the win, the Sea Robbers' mentor was left frustrated by his side's lack of composure during the contest.

The defending Carling Knockout champions welcomed Babina Noko to the Orlando Amstel Arena, with Abdeslam Ouaddou's men making full use of the Buccaneers' home-ground advantage in front of the Ghost to see off the Limpopo-based outfit. The victory moves the Sea Robbers a step closer to securing their first piece of silverware in the 2026/27 campaign.

The Tshwane giants head into the continental final against USM Alger with a cloud of uncertainty hanging over their most influential players. The potential absence of Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena has created a major selection headache for the head coach as he chases more glory.
