How to watch the Brazil Grand Prix 2025 in the UK: Weekend schedule, TV channels, streaming links & more

Twenty races completed, four more to go, and everything is still to play for in the F1 Drivers’ Championship with just 36 points separating Max Verstappen in third and Lando Norris in first. Following the thrilling action from Mexico City at the end of last month, the F1 bandwagon now heads to Brazil and the famous Interlagos circuit for the Brazil Grand Prix on November 9. You won’t want to miss a single moment of the action, and with every session available to watch or stream live, you won’t have to.

The scrap for supremacy within the McLaren ranks intensified further in Mexico City. Lando Norris returned to the top of the drivers’ standings for the first time since April, after he cruised to a 30-second victory at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and Oscar Piastri finished well down the field again. It was Norris’s first triumph since taking the honours in Hungary at the start of August, and it meant he leapfrogged his teammate by a single point.

The McLarens haven’t had it all their own way of late, though, as a resurgent Max Verstappen remains focused on chasing down the runaway duo. The Red Bull star recorded his sixth straight podium finish in Mexico and arrives at Interlagos in a positive mood, as he goes in search of a third successive win at the Brazilian track.

Of the current crop of drivers, Verstappen is level with Lewis Hamilton on three victories apiece in Sao Paulo. They both remain three wins adrift of the great Alain Prost, though, who sprayed the champers on six occasions in Brazil between 1982-1990. However, five of his six successes did come during the years when the Grand Prix was held at Jacarepagua in Rio de Janeiro. Interlagos itself has been hosting F1 Championship races for more than 50 years and is always one of the highlights on the motorsports calendar.

Brazil has produced numerous F1 heroes over the years, such as Emerson Fittipaldi, Nelson Piquet, Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa and who can forget the legendary Ayrton Senna. Kick Sauber’s Gabriel Bortoleto is the only current Brazilian driver on the 2025 grid, but the former F2 & F3 champion will have high hopes of future progression and is guaranteed plenty of vocal support in Sao Paulo, where he was born and raised.

Interlagos stages a sprint weekend once again, the penultimate one of the 2025 season. These unique weekends help ensure there are competitive track sessions for fans attending the event and watching on TV on all three days of the race weekend. To further add to the spectators’ excitement, there will be live music and performances throughout the weekend for the first time at the Brazil Grand Prix. On Friday, Jorge Aragao, an influential samba performer, takes to the stage. The party atmosphere continues on Saturday, with Brazilian DJ Alok playing a medley of his best hits. The curtain falls on Sunday with a vibrant performance from SIBC (Samba Independente dos Bons Costumes), a Rio-based group known for its energetic shows.

Let GOAL give you all the important information you need ahead of the Brazil Grand Prix, including the full weekend schedule of events and how you can watch and stream all the action live.

The Brazil Grand Prix 2025 will take place on Sunday, November 9. The race is held at the Interlagos circuit (also known as the Autodromo José Carlos Pace) in São Paulo. Interlagos has held motor racing events since 1940, but it didn’t begin staging a regular round of the F1 world championship until 1973. The first three F1 races held were won by Brazilian drivers, Emerson Fittipaldi (1973 & 1974) and Carlos Pace (1975), which further heightened interest in the event in the country. The current track is 4.309 km (2.677 miles) long, and the lap record is held by Valtteri Bottas, who clocked 1:10.540 in his Mercedes back in 2018.

How to watch the Brazil Grand Prix 2025 from anywhere with a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the Brazil Grand Prix locally, you may need a different way to watch the race. That's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on race day, by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're travelling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins. Frequently asked questions

While F1 cars raced at Interlagos in 1972, the event didn’t appear on the official F1 Championship schedule until a year later, with Brazil’s Emerson Fittipaldi taking the inaugural plaudits. It’s appeared on the F1 schedule every year since apart from the COVID-19 pandemic year (2020). Since 2021 the event has been held under the name ‘Sao Paulo Grand Prix’.

The next race on the 2025 Formula One season schedule after the Sao Paulo Grand Prix is the Las Vegas Grand Prix (November 22) from the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. This will be only the third time the event has taken place, with Max Verstappen winning in 2023 and George Russell taking the chequered flag last year.

Max Verstappen remains in resurgent form. The 4-time world champion clinched his sixth successive podium finish when finishing third in Mexico. It leaves the Dutchman 36 points off the lead with four races to go. The Red Bull star now goes in search of a third successive win at the Brazilian track.

The scrap for supremacy within the McLaren ranks intensified further in Mexico City. Lando Norris returned to the top of the drivers’ standings for the first time since April, after he cruised to a 30 second victory at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and Oscar Piastri finished well down the field again.
