Video technology is a step forward for football but it's most definitely not infallible - as Italy's Under-20s found out on Monday!

The Azzurri were trailng in the World Cup quarter-final when Giuseppe Pezzella was pulled up for a shove on Edward Chilufya. 

Contact looked minimal, but after a review of the incident Pezzella was sent off, leaving Italy with their backs against the wall. 

But they came back strongly even with 10 men, scoring three times in the second half to prevail 3-2 and book their place in the last four.
