Chelsea vs Aston Villa: Where to watch the match online, live stream, TV channels, and kick-off time

How to watch the Premier League match between Chelsea and Aston Villa, as well as kick-off time and team news.

History beckons for Aston Villa as they chase a stunning 11th consecutive win in all competitions when they travel to Chelsea in the Premier League.

Chelsea were staring at another defeat as they trailed 2-0 at a tough away ground against Newcastle United. But their skipper, Reece James, stepped up and scored a brilliant free-kick as Joao Pedro chipped in with an equaliser to earn a point. The Blues' boss Enzo Maresca then revealed why they aren't the title contenders this season. Maresca relishes a big-game challenge and might give Aston Villa a run for their money.

Morgan Rogers was in scintillating form as he punished Manchester United twice in a 2-1 victory. The Villans created history by winning 10 consecutive games for the first time in the Premier League era. They can match their 111-year-old consecutive 11-game winning run record. The run saw Unai Emery's men pick up 33 of the 36 available points recently. It lifted Villa to third in the table, and they could potentially end the day joint top if they pick up a victory and other results go their way. If they can win their next two tough encounters against Chelsea and Arsenal, they can be considered genuine title contenders.

Pedro will lead the line along with Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto.

Emery will be tempted to follow the cliche never change a winning squad. He has no fresh injuries, but his main centre-back, Pau Torres, is still a week or two away from recovery. Ian Maatsen became the starting left-back as Lucas Digne became a backup. As Evann Guessand is away at AFCON, John McGinn nailed down the right-back spot. Donyell Malen could be the one pushing the most for a start, as Ollie Watkins looks hot and cold at times.

Predicted Lineup: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Lindelof, Maatsen; Kamara, Onana; McGinn, Tielemans, Rogers; Watkins

Frequently asked questions

Buying Arsenal tickets directly from the club is notoriously difficult, as they rarely ever go on sale to non-members. Arsenal switched to a ballot system in 2022, so there is no traditional sales period in which tickets can sell out quickly. Members have to enter a ballot, which opens around 6-8 weeks before a match and remains open for around 4 days, if hoping to purchase Arsenal match tickets. These are almost always over-subscribed, so is a lottery with low odds. During the 2024/25 season, the average success rate for ordinary Red Members in the ballots was just 9%.

Yes, in addition, fans can purchase seats on the secondary market. StubHub is one of the leading retailers for those seeking to buy tickets through alternative channels.

Yes, Arsenal hospitality packages are also a great way for non-members to secure match seats. They tend to sell out slower than tickets on the primary and secondary markets, so can be a good choice when other options are limited.

A football hospitality package is likely to offer you exclusive views of the match, comfortable seats, food and drink before and during the match and a dedicated host. If you have a special occasion, such as a birthday, coming up, it'll make a brilliant day out and one that will live long in the memory.

As well as ensuring fans have an extraordinary experience, rather than just an ordinary one, football hospitality packages also provide a solution for securing tickets, you would otherwise miss out on. If tickets for a match are likely to sell out, some might be tempted to avoid the hassle of hitting the secondary/reselling market and go straight for the hospitality option. You also won’t need to be a club member to purchase hospitality packages.

The occasion can also influence the perceived value of hospitality tickets. Special events such as derby matches or huge European encounters may justify the splurge, as they offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness history in the making from the comfort of a VIP suite.
