Christian Pulisic makes 50th Borussia Dortmund appearance

The 18-year-old has reached an impressive milestone early in his professional career, having made his debut just over a year ago

With a start against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, Christian Pulisic has made his 50th career Borussia Dortmund appearance.

Pulisic made his senior debut as a 17-year-old in January 2016, coming on as a substitute against Hertha Berlin in a Bundesliga match.

The U.S. international has gone on to become an important part of Thomas Tuchel's side, making 14 Bundesliga starts and appearing in all 10 of the club's Champions League matches in the 2016-17 campaign. 

Overall, Pulisic's 50 appearances consist of 35 Bundesliga matches, 10 Champions League appearances, three Europa League appearances and two matches in the DFB-Pokal. He has scored seven goals in his Dortmund career thus far.
