  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Rooney's coaching career has been a dismal failure so far following his retirement. The Manchester United legend has been sacked by Birmingham and most recently let go by Plymouth in December, leaving both clubs in the relegation spot before he departure. The chances of the 39-year-old returning to management any time soon seem unlikely but he could have another job lined up.

    The Mirror has revealed that Amazon have eyed Rooney as their 'star pundit' for the mammoth Champions League playoff clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid. The report has suggested that Amazon Prime are also keen on establishing the Manchester United legend as a regular pundit for the Premier League broadcast this season.
