    THE BIGGER PICTURE

After penning a new deal with the Reds, Salah continued to dazzle on the pitch as he broke the 38-game record for the most goal involvements in a Premier League season (45) following his assist for Luis Diaz's opening in the club's win over the Hammers. The Egyptian is now two off the all-time record (47) set by Andy Cole (1993-94) and Alan Shearer (1994-95) - both of which came in 42-match seasons.
