    The iconic football figure, known for his passion and competitive spirit, celebrated wildly as his 25/1 longshot, Monmiral, triumphed in the Pertemps Network Final. Monmiral's unexpected win not only stunned punters but also earned Ferguson a handsome £50,000 in prize money. Co-owned by Ferguson, Ged Mason, and John and Lisa Hales, Monmiral defied the odds and clinched victory over the favoured Kyntara in a thrilling race.

    But the celebrations didn't end there for the Red Devils legend. Ferguson's next horse of the day, Protektorat, secured victory in the Ryanair Chase, making it two wins out of two for the decorated manager.

    Standing alongside former England boss Sam Allardyce, Ferguson expressed his elation, praising jockey Harry Cobden for his stellar performance.

    Ferguson remarked, "Well, that was fantastic, what a jockey." When questioned about whether the victory compared to winning the Champions League, Ferguson replied: "Oh no, that's different, that's different."
