USMNT rising star Kevin Paredes follows in footsteps of Kevin De Bruyne and Endrick by signing with Jay-Z's Roc Nation ahead of 2024 Paris Olympic Games

In an announcement posted on social media, the hip-hop icon's sports agency announced that they had secured the services of the young American. In the highlight reel, the Wolfsburg player is welcomed to the 'family' - which includes Man City superstar Kevin De Bruyne and up-and-coming Brazil phenom Endrick.

Paredes struggled to find playing time throughout the first half of the 2023/24 campaign, but the flip of the calendar year saw him break into the senior team. Despite only netting two goals across 23 matches this season, he's started nine of Wolfsburg's last 10 matches in all competitions. During the March international break, he represented the U23 USMNT Olympic squad in international friendlies against France and Guinea.

There is still a long way to go in my career, and it’s fantastic to have partners who have my best interests at heart, enabling me to concentrate my focus on performing for both club and country.”

Paredes will finish out the 2024 Bundesliga campaign with Wolfsburg before switching gears to representing the U.S. at the 2024 Olympic Games. Expected to make the 18-man roster in Paris, the 20-year-old has high expectations heading into the tournament.
