Ratcliffe has taken time out to meet with Mendes in the hope of using the agent's knowledge and contacts to Manchester United's advantage, according to the Mirror. Ratcliffe has offered some insight into his transfer plans recently on British cyclist Geraint Thomas' podcast. He said: "It’s not that clever is it buying Mbappe? Anyone could figure that one out, but what is much more challenging is to find the next Mbappe, or the next Bellingham, or the next Roy Keane."
