Still just 25, Sancho has been searching for a permanent home ever since his high-profile falling out with former United manager Erik ten Hag in 2023. Loans with Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea have followed, with the Blues' decision to pay a £5 million penalty to avoid signing Sancho permanently surely coming as a blow to the England international. Managers across Europe know the quality possessed by the former Manchester City youth product, and a move to Serie A may provide the perfect opportunity for a fresh start.

With a move to Italy looking like a possibility, Sancho should brush up on his Italian if he hopes to wow Trent-style at his potential unveiling.
