Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal and made 17 appearances in the Premier League, although he could only contribute two assists. The Gunners opted against signing him permanently, and he could now be set to move to Serie A. At Chelsea, he has played 81 times, but it is unclear where he fits in Enzo Maresca's squad after they signed Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian this summer.

Sterling will aim to complete a move away from Chelsea this summer if he is to be at all guaranteed of first-team football next season.
