Pep Guardiola 'furious' with Jack Grealish's poor form in 2023-24 as Man City's transfer stance is revealed amid Tottenham & Bayern Munich interest in £100m winger

Grealish has endured a difficult season for Manchester City due to injuries, a loss of form and a traumatic burglary at his home that left the midfielder "devastated." The England international has even left his manager "frustrated, sometimes furious" during the current campaign with his performances, according to The Athletic. Yet Guardiola is still appreciative of what Grealish can offer his team and has called on the 28-year-old to rediscover his best form ahead of the new campaign.

The midfielder's difficult season has prompted interest from Tottenham and Bayern Munich, although the report adds that sources close to Grealish have said there is "no chance" of a move away from Manchester City in the summer transfer window. Guardiola has admitted that Grealish has struggled this season but has backed the midfield star to get back to his best next season.

Grealish said last month he was eager to repay Guardiola with his performances on the pitch. He said: "It’s been a difficult season for me personally, after the highs of last year. I spoke to the manager a lot and he’s been so good with me. I owe him a little bit and want to repay him now with my performances and the team as well.”

Grealish has been included in England's provisional squad for Euro 2024, much to the consternation of many fans, and will hope to be on the plane to Germany. However, there's no guarantee he will be included after starting just 10 Premier League games for City last season. Gareth Southgate has a host of other options and some big decisions to make on his final squad.
