GettyWHAT HAPPENED?
World Cup winner Pogba has seen his four-year suspension from football-related activity reduced to 18 months following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). As a result, the French midfielder will be cleared to resume his professional career in March 2025.
GettyWHAT EVRA SAID
There has been talk of Pogba potentially joining Lionel Messi and Co in MLS, but fellow countryman Evra wants to see a proven performer return to his homeland and link up with ex-United winger Greenwood at Marseille. Evra has told the Rothen s’enflamme podcast: “99% of the time, I think we won't see Paul again in Juve colours. We have to turn the page. I'm going to call Medhi Benatia so that he can call him because the doors are open.”
