Former EFL player and coach, Carlton Palmer, has told Football League World why the Red Dragons may need to find another upgrade in the final third: "Paul Mullin, Wrexham's striker, in 11 appearances this season has only scored one goal. He's been prolific, as we've seen before... but he's untested at League One level.
"I think they'll probably have to look past Paul Mullin with all due respect. Looking at his history, he's not prolific in League One. If they want someone prolific they would have to go out and get somebody who scores goals in League One and I think they will in January.
"It's very, very tight in those play-off spots, Bolton Wanderers 23 points, Lincoln City 24, Mansfield Town 24, Wrexham 25. They will need somebody who can score goals, but given two successive promotions, they're going along great at the moment. It is a worry that Paul Mullin does not score goals at League One level."
