  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Given that the team is unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, Ten Hag's future at Old Trafford is still up in the air. Although he is scheduled to meet with the new leadership at the end of the current season to talk about his continuation in the role, the Dutchman seems certain that the Red Devils will still employ him come next season, as he believes the ownership trusts his project.

    WHAT NEXT FOR ALLARDYCE?

It is highly unlikely that Allardyce will be in the running to take over from Ten Hag next season as he has not held a managerial position since last season when he was sacked by Leeds United after the team's relegation from the Premier League.
