USMNT midfielder Julian Gressel found Suarez inside the box for the opening goal, with the 30-year-old American laying off the ball in brilliant fashion. Just seven minutes later, though, is when the magic really happened.
Looking like he was still playing for FC Barcelona in 2014, El Pistolero Suarez beat not one, but two defenders. He lifted the ball off the grass, popped it in the air and fired home with a low-driven effort to beat Orlando goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.
The performance helps put to bed some of the concerns about Suarez, who had struggled a bit to start the season. There was no struggling on Saturday as the Uruguayan star absolutely destroyed Orlando City.
