With the defender's contract expiring in the summer of 2027, it is reasonable to believe that the German club will not want to let him go for a little fee. In the upcoming months, Leverkusen may simply demand that Liverpool and other teams pay him in full for using his release clause. Hincapie is a versatile player who would be the perfect addition to Liverpool, who are in urgent need of a strong centre defence. In addition to playing left-back, the former Independiente del Valle player can play in central defence.
