Liverpool have been scouting potential replacements for Salah and have earmarked Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo and Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo as possible targets, according to Sky Sports. Mbeumo has impressed this season with eight goals in nine Premier League appearances and has "been monitored by Liverpool for some time". Semenyo has also emerged as an option and is well known to Liverpool's new sporting director Richard Hughes as he brought him to former club Bournemouth from Bristol City back in January 2023.
