The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner registered two assists during a vital win in California that has helped to keep Inter Miami in the hunt for an unlikely play-off spot. Victory over the current MLS Cup holders means that Inter Miami – who still sit 14th in the Eastern Conference – are now eight points adrift of booking a place in the post-season with nine games and an outing in the U.S. Open Cup final still to come.
