    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Messi's arrival in MLS has done wonders for Miami and the league, both in terms of driving up interest, revenue, and more. The 37-year-old is still showing he can deliver on the pitch, after leading Miami to their first-ever trophy - a Leagues Cup triumph last year - and now they are top of the standings in the MLS Eastern Conference. With Messi leading the charge in Miami, things are looking very rosy and the MLS Supporters' Shield now looks a likely outcome.
