Serie A club eyeing Greenwood deal
Spent season on loan at Getafe
Lazio yet to table adequate bid
WHAT HAPPENED?
Greenwood enjoyed a sterling season at Getafe but there is no way back for the striker at United. As a result, a price tag of €50m (£42m/$35m) has been placed on the striker's head, a price which Lazio are yet to reach.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Serie A club have thus far made a bid worth around €25m (£21m/$27m) and will need to increase that offer. They have set a deadline of July 8 to seal a deal, an objective they feel is achievable, per Calciomercato.
Lazio's deadline is in just six days so they may well table a second, improved bid for Greenwood soon. It remains to be seen if he is willing to move to Italy, however.
