Kyle Walker & Annie Kilner's marriage is 'as bad as it's ever been' with couple 'barely talking' after Man City loanee sprung AC Milan transfer on her without warning

Walker left Manchester City in the January transfer window to join AC Milan on loan and has gone on to make an impressive debut for the club. The move came during a turbulent time for the defender on and off the pitch, with his private life regularly in the spotlight even since his affair with Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn Goodman came to light. According to The Sun, the relationship between the pair has hit a new low because of the transfer as Walker failed to give his wife any warning that he was considering moving abroad.

A source told the tabloid: "That's how strained things are at the moment. It's as bad as it's ever been. He didn't even sit her down and discuss moving to Italy. He just said 'I'm going, it's up to you if you come with me.' They're not in a great place and are barely talking. It's still unclear if Annie will actually join him permanently in Italy. Everything is up in the air but, then again, it's been like this ever since the scandal was exposed."

Kilner has already left Walker alone in Italy after jetting in to watch his debut and the family are yet to finalise their living arrangements in Italy. Kilner may also be needed back in England as she is being tipped to feature in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother which starts in the spring. However, Walker is said to be eager for the couple to renew their marriage vows and try and make a fresh start in Milan.

Walker will be hoping to stay out of the gossip columns after making the switch to Italy. After an impressive debut against rivals Inter, he will now be focused on the Rossoneri's next fixture against Roma in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
