    WHAT HAPPENED?

The young midfielder missed the trip to Tottenham last weekend and United later confirmed that the player had picked up a muscle injury. The Telegraph now reports that Mainoo will remain out of action at least until the end of March. This means that he will not be available for selection in Thomas Tuchel's maiden England squad, with the Three Lions set to face Albania and Latvia in 2026 World Cup qualifying matches on March 21 and 24 respectively.
