Jonathan David to Juventus is on! Serie A giants close in on Canada international with free agent set to finally make decision over future

Fabrizio Romano states that Juventus are close to reaching an agreement with the Canadian international after sending him a new offer. He adds that negotiations are underway as the Serie A team hope to get the final green light soon.

David has been linked with Manchester United, Tottenham, and more, but it seems the 25-year-old could be heading to the Italian giants instead. The Canadian has been prolific for both club and country and now he could be inching closer to the biggest move of his career.

David, who had trials at FC Salzburg and Stuttgart but was rejected by both, joined Lille from Gent in 2020 and went on to score 109 goals in 232 games for the French team. In his last three seasons, he scored 25 goals or more in each campaign.

If David, who has scored 36 goals in 67 caps for his country, completes this transfer to the Old Lady, he could be part of their pre-season campaign ahead of the 2025/26 season.
