Beny Zahavi, Lewandowski’s agent, was also in Barcelona this week for direct talks with the Catalan club.
The Italian meeting may have involved a representative from Lewandowski’s agency rather than Zahavi directly.
Milan are not alone in their interest: Juventus have also approached the idea of signing the Polish striker in recent weeks, knowing his future at Barcelona remains uncertain.
