The 37-year-old, accompanied by a stupendous goal from striker Mateusz Bogus, helped lead the Black and Gold to an incredible - and important - early season victory over their Western Conference competitors.

The Frenchman tied ex-LAFC shotstopper Tyler Miller's club record, with seven saves on the day, helping the Black and Gold to victory. However, Lloris's heroics weren't the only reason the Los Angeles-based club snagged a victory Saturday.

Bogusz launched this brilliant curling effort in the second half, scoring what was eventually the game-winning goal.

The Black and Gold will head into week two of the MLS season against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, March 2. Lloris ad co. will be looking to make it six points across two matches.
