    Lloris, who signed for Major League Soccer Club LAFC in December 2023, came up with a bizarre claim that he knew everything about Los Angeles even before he moved to the metropolitan through Grand Theft Auto, a video game that he regularly plays.

  • WHAT HUGO LLORIS SAID

    Speaking to L'Equipe, the former World Cup-winning French captain said, "As for the population, it seems to be growing with every move, but I think we’ll stop here. The film industry, Dr. Dre, GTA… I’ve played this game so much on PlayStation that I felt like I knew all the landmarks, streets, and corners of the city, even though I’ve never been here."

    The veteran goalkeeper has featured in his team's starting lineup in their first two matches of the current MLS 2024 season. LAFC were off to a flying start as they beat Seattle Sounders 2-1 but they suffered a 3-0 defeat in their second game against Real Salt Lake where they had to play in extreme weather conditions.
