'Tommy left me a little note’ – Harry Kane reveals message from Bayern team-mate Muller ahead of Euro 2024 and insists Germany have a 'little soft spot' for England

    The 30-year-old forward now plays alongside Muller at club level after moving for a staggering €120 million ($129.4 million/£102m) last summer, marking a significant shift in his career. Although Bayern Munich fell short in the Bundesliga title race, with Bayer Leverkusen clinching their first championship, Kane's individual performance was nothing short of spectacular.     WHAT KANE SAID

    Kane is now back in Germany with England preparing for Euro 2024 and has received a letter from Muller at the Three Lions' training base, the Weirmarer Land Golf and Spa Resort in Blankenhain. Germany utilized the facility for their warm-up games before moving to Herzogenaurach for the main tournament.

    "Tommy left me a little note because they were here just a couple of weeks ago," Kane revealed. "He said the golf course is great, but the weather has not been so good! It looks fantastic, the hotel is incredible, and to be in Germany is a bit of a home from home."

    Kane also spoke about being back in Germany and how he feels there is plenty of support for his team despite the longstanding rivalry between the two nations.

    "The reception I've had since I've been at Bayern has been incredible," Kane told reporters. "Ever since I've been in the [England team] hotel, I've had some of the staff come up and say hello. I'm not saying they want England to win, but I think they have a little soft spot for us -- now I'm here -- and that's fantastic."
