Italian side Bologna have been in touch with Dzeko for over a week and hope to have a definitive answer on his possible arrival this week, Gazzetta dello Sport. Meanwhile, an offer for to Ziyech is also being considered, though no decision has been reached.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Dzeko joined Turkish side Fenerbahce from Inter in 2023 but will leave this summer when his contract expires, while Ziyech's deal at Qatari side Al-Duhail is also coming to an end. Bologna and Dzeko are yet to work out the length and salary of a contract, with the club offering a one-year deal with an option for a second worth €1.5 million per year.
