Demanding Cristiano Ronaldo hands out ‘tips’ to Al-Nassr team-mates! Portuguese GOAT ‘not afraid to talk’ if he feels something needs to improve

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo has reached the very top of his chosen profession by demanding nothing but perfection from himself and those that he works alongside. At 40 years of age, that desire to be the best shows no sign of waning.

While CR7 can be a demanding character, he is happy to pass on nuggets of advice to colleagues when he feels that something needs to improve. Lessons from the Portuguese GOAT are always gratefully received in the Saudi Pro League.

Brazil international Bento has said of what it is like to work with Ronaldo on a daily basis: “Cristiano is phenomenal, he always tries to help us, he gives us tips, he sees something that can be improved. He is not afraid to talk to us. With this kind of relationship, it is impossible to not get along better. I try to absorb the best things. It is a great experience.”

Bento joined Ronaldo in Riyadh during the summer of 2024, shunning interest from Europe before heading to the Middle East, and is happy with the big career calls that he has made. The 25-year-old added: “I think there is a bit of prejudice against the Saudi league, just look at who plays there. I don’t even need to talk about my team. My level is the same, I continue to improve. I can show that on the pitch. I will do my best to demonstrate that.”

Bento, with three senior caps to his name, is set to line up for Brazil in their 2026 World Cup qualifier against arch-rivals Argentina on Tuesday – with Liverpool keeper Alisson nursing a knock. He will not have to contend with Lionel Messi as the Inter Miami superstar has been forced to withdraw from the latest Albiceleste squad.
