The 35-year-old frontman, who made his solitary appearance for the Three Lions in 2013, added: “I have really loved it being here amongst the lads. It is something different and I just keep testing myself. I've always said if you keep trying to improve, it's a really good feeling for yourself as a footballer. You need that.
“As soon as I came in, I knew it was the right thing. The lads, staff and everyone part of the club has made me feel really welcome which you really appreciate. Then it is get down to work and how I can improve and help anyone, I will do to the best of my ability.”
